ACES HIGH is proud to announce the 2nd model in our lineup of great flying scale warbirds, the Republic P-47D Thunderbolt. Meticulously researched, studied, developed and refined the ACES HIGH P-47D is modeled in a worn and weathered appearance just as the full scale version would appear after multiple months of active duty in the European theater during World War II.

The ACES HIGH P-47D is lightweight and easy to fly. If you are comfortable with flying low wing sport aircraft you will have no problem mastering the flight characteristics of the P-47D. Rugged balsa and plywood construction make for a durable yet lightweight airframe with scale details and markings. A set of detailed mechanical retracts come pre-installed and a detailed assembly manual with tips to further enhance the scale appearance of your model is included. A scale spinner hub is also included that fits the recommended Torque 4016T/500 which delivers gobs of power for this great flying model!
