FTX Kanyon 4X4 RTR 1:10 XL trail crawler

The next step in crawling: this big guy is 1/10th scale and therefore a lot bigger than the other FTX crawler series (Outback). Want to join the big boys right away? Perfectly possible with this Kanyon, even as a beginner.

The high torque 60T brushed motor drives a rugged, all metal output pinion, crown and transmission gears for extra reliability. Front universal CVA driveshafts and centre telescopic sliding shafts keep the power connected to all wheels through high clearance front and rear locked axles.

The Kanyon’s off road inspired semi-scale bodyshell features a number of additional moulded accessories such as wheel arches, luggage tray, roll cage, front grill and head, tail and spotlights. To wrap things up 13 factory installed LED lamps provide the necessary illumination for you to keep your rig on the trail long after the sun goes down.

Aluminium front and rear bumper and body mounts provide a wide selection of optional positioning for possible aftermarket options.

Supersoft aggressive lug pattern tyres are mounted to scale style wheels for a realistic finish. With a blend of semi-scale looks, reliable chassis platform and over 10% bigger size than most trail crawlers, the FTX Kanyon is the perfect choice for first time modeller’s simply after some outdoor fun!

Buy an extra battery (or two) to make the most of your free time; this way you can already charge the other battery while you keep on driving!

If you want to recharge your batteries faster than with the standard charger (RTF version), you should buy a separate charger. These can be found from €44.95 and are a must if you have several cars in your garage later. Charging is also best done in a LiPo Safe Bag, safety first!

A LiPo Tester is also a must-have tool for (race) pilots. With this tool you can measure before or after your flight how much battery charge you have left. This way you avoid taking off with an empty battery or driving too empty.
