The Rx32d is only slightly larger and heavier than the Rx31d but with 9 channels instead of 4 and supports DSM2 Surface for use with a Spektrum DX3 or DX4 as well as DSM2/DSMX Aero. It has no on-board ESC or serial/sumPPM output. View the user instructions.
The Rx32d-18s is the same board, but with firmware to output 18 channel serial on the 'ele' pad - compatible with Spektrum X-Plus transmitters. The packet format is 40 bytes of RS-232 data at 115200 baud, 8 bits, no parity, 2 stop bits, LSB first with a 22ms frame rate:
Byte | Data |
---|---|
1 | 0xFE first start byte |
2 | 0x02 second start byte |
3 | Checksum - sum of other 19 bytes cast to 1 byte (8 bit) |
4 | Signal quality - 1st bit (MSB) 1=new data, 0='hold' data/signal not validated; next 2 bits not used; last 5 bits (LSB) = RSSI (31 max, 0=no signal/timeout) |
5-22 | Payload - 7 channels, 2 bytes per channel - 1st 3 bits not used, next 3 bits = channel number, last 10 bits = channel position |
