The Aero L-39 Albatros is a two-seat, single-engine trainer aircraft developed in Czechoslovakia as a successor to the L-29 Delfin. The aircraft remains in use by several air forces around the world. The AMEWI model replicates this iconic jet in a small, maneuverable version, presented in PNP (Plug and Play) format with significant upgrades in its V2 version. The most notable upgrade is the engine, featuring a newly developed 11-blade impeller and a 30A Hobbywing controller, replacing the previous 5-blade impeller. This upgrade enhances performance and delivers a more pleasant sound during operation.
The model arrives mostly pre-assembled, requiring minimal assembly—just the wing, linkages, and tail need to be attached. The servos (3x 8g), 50mm impeller with 4900KV brushless motor, and 30A Hobbywing ESC are pre-installed. Designed for 3S Li-Po batteries (850 to 1000mAh), the L-39 offers robust flight performance, catering to both novice and experienced pilots.
