FMS
FMS143-BU
After the end of World War II, the United States and the Soviet Union brought back aviation experts, data, and equipment from Germany to create their own jet fighter aircraft. The F-86 fighter jet, nicknamed "Sabre," was a swept-wing jet fighter developed by the United States. It was the first-generation jet fighter in service with the U.S. Air Force, capable of air-to-air combat, aerial interception, and bombing missions. It was also the world's first fighter aircraft equipped with air-to-air missiles and the first U.S. fighter aircraft with an ejection seat.
Building upon their extensive experience in developing remote-controlled model fighter aircraft, FMS has made significant efforts to faithfully replicate the legendary and classic F-86 "Sabre" with the product standard of "perfect appearance, excellent performance." The model is filled with numerous realistic details, such as operable landing-gear doors, retractable CNC-machined landing gear, movable airbrakes, wing navigation lights (red on the left, green on the right), jet nozzle navigation lights (one red, one white), and landing lights (white). The static model-level exterior details have also been meticulously addressed, including fuel tanks, cockpit interior (molded plastic parts), and antennas. It's worth mentioning that the interior plastic parts of the cockpit and the airbrakes have both undergone an antiquing process, creating a bridge to the past.
Additionally, key areas of the "Sabre" model, such as the fuselage, wings, and tail, are reinforced with multiple embedded strengthening tubes and reinforcement plates, ensuring structural strength during extreme flight maneuvers. The two-piece design of the fuselage reduces packaging size by thirty percent, facilitating easy transport and storage. The model is available in two classic schemes, "THE HUFF" and "SKYBLAZERS," which are easily recognizable in clear skies or overcast conditions.
Foldable and weathered airbrake
Controlled by 9gr semi-metal servos, the airbrakes enhance drag, reducing speed. Additionally, the airbrakes feature a weathered design.
Retractable gear doors and landing gear with large tires
Simulating real aircraft, the retractable landing gear doors enhance realism and durability. With a timer mechanism, they replicate the delayed opening and closing of landing gear doors, ensuring synchronized operation with gear’s extension or retraction for safety and smoothness. Featuring robust large tires, this landing gear fearlessly maneuvers across uneven surfaces. Crafted with aluminium CNC technology. It’s virtually indestructible, ensuring solid impact resistance and smooth landings.
Abundant LED light effects
F-86 comes equipped with a rich array of lighting effect, including navigation light (red on the left, green on the right), jet nozzle navigation lights (one red, one white), and landing lights (white), enhancing the plane’s authentic appearance.
200g Thrust beyond conventional limits
The F-86 boasts a robust configuration, including an 80mm 12-blade ducted fan, 3665-KV2000 brushless motor and a high-performance 100A ESC (with 5A switch BEC) compatible with commonly available 6S 4000-5500mAh LiPo batteries, its efficient design ensures outstanding performance even during extended flights.
Equipped with 11 servos
Including eight 13g all-metal servos for precise control of ailerons, flaps, rudder, and elevator, you can execute maneuvers with ease. Master pitch, roll, yaw and flip effortlessly. And three 9g semi-metal servos control airbrakes and the front landing gear doors simulating realistic actions with precision and timing.
Cockpit with concealed latch design
Effortlessly open the cockpit with a simple one-press operation. This convenient and efficient feature effectively protects the aircraft from accidental opening or damage maintaining an authentic visual appeal for consistency and realism.
