A specially tuned 5065-470Kv brushless outrunner motor, combined with the Spektrum™ Avian® 100A Smart ESC, provides exceptional performance on commonly available 6S 4000–7000mAh LiPo batteries.
With the included 5-blade 12x12 propeller, the PC-21 offers unlimited vertical performance and level-flight speeds of 100+ MPH, giving this scale trainer the kind of performance normally associated with much more aggressive models.
For pilots looking for even more speed and efficiency, the included 2-blade spinner can be paired with an optional APC 12x12E propeller. This setup reduces current draw while increasing top speed and extending flight times.
The Avian Smart ESC also provides real-time telemetry information, including battery voltage, temperature, motor RPM, and other power-system data when paired with a compatible Spektrum transmitter and receiver.
Spektrum AS3X+® and SAFE® Select
The BNF Basic version includes a factory-installed Spektrum AR637TA+ receiver, bringing advanced flight-assistance technology to the PC-21.
Enhanced AS3X+® technology provides a locked-in, precise feel while helping smooth the effects of wind and turbulence without taking away the natural feel of the aircraft.
For additional assistance, SAFE® Select can be enabled as an optional-use feature, making the PC-21 accessible to a wider range of pilots while still allowing experienced pilots to enjoy the aircraft's full performance envelope.
The receiver also includes a Smart Transmitter File (STF), allowing compatible NX- and iX-series transmitters to automatically import the model settings during the binding process.

The PC-21 offers an exceptionally wide flight envelope, from stable and forgiving slow flight to precise aerobatics, high-speed passes, and aggressive maneuvers.

No glue is required. The vertical stabilizer and two-piece wing are secured with just eight hex-head screws, while the horizontal stabilizers simply snap into place.
