Important Charging & Safety Information
Please follow these instructions carefully when using the Power-Ion battery pack.
- No cell balancing is required when charging this battery.
- Charge only with a Li-Ion/Li-Po compatible charger with a voltage limit of 4.2V per cell.
- Do not discharge below 2.5V per cell.
- Never exceed the specified maximum continuous or peak discharge current.
- Do not charge at a current higher than the specified 5.3A maximum charging current.
- Prevent short circuits. A short circuit can cause irreversible damage to the battery.
- Do not allow the battery cells to exceed 80°C.
- Never use a battery with a damaged casing, insulation or cell wrapping.
- Keep the battery away from water and other liquids.
- Improper handling, charging or use may result in fire, explosion or personal injury.
Always inspect the battery before use and discontinue operation immediately if any damage, swelling, overheating or abnormal behaviour is observed.
