TA Horizons RAF-1 — Quick-Build 3D EPP Jet
Meet the RAF-1, TA Horizons' first quick-build 3D EPP jet, designed to get you in the air in as little as 2 hours.
Developed in collaboration with French 3D jet champion Nicolas Gastaldi and meticulously engineered in CAD by Paul Valliant, the RAF-1 combines outstanding low-speed handling with an impressive range of 3D aerobatic capabilities.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor flying, this lightweight EPP jet delivers a surprisingly precise and controlled flying experience across the entire speed range. Its extended elevons and high-authority control surfaces provide excellent control response, making the RAF-1 highly capable whether you're performing slow, precise maneuvers or pushing into aggressive 3D aerobatics.
The RAF-1 is also designed to perform exceptionally well with or without the optional 3D vectoring system, allowing you to choose the setup that best matches your flying style and level of experience.
Quick to Build. Serious 3D Performance.
One of the RAF-1's biggest advantages is its fast and straightforward assembly. With a build time of around two hours, you can spend less time at the workbench and more time flying.
Once airborne, the lightweight EPP airframe and carbon reinforcement provide an excellent combination of durability, responsiveness, and low-speed stability.
From tight loops and knife-edge maneuvers to hovering, high-alpha passes, harriers and other aggressive 3D figures, the RAF-1 is built to deliver an exciting and highly engaging flying experience.

The RAF-1 requires a suitable motor, ESC, servos, receiver and LiPo battery, which must be purchased separately unless you choose one of our complete Aerobertics-ready combo options.
