Phoenix Model
GL04E
The K-8B from Phoenix Model is a large glider with a 6.5 m wingspan in a classic design, as can be found at many manned glider airfields. The model is manufactured in excellent quality as a fully covered wooden construction. The K-8B has a split fuselage and a four-part wing, so that it can also be transported in a "normal" car.
Absolutely true to the original
This model from Phoenix is in no way inferior to its original. Many beautiful detailed solutions make the K-8B look like the original when viewed on the ground. And in the air, the model also gives an absolutely "scale" flight image, which is hardly distinguishable from the flight image of the manned original.
Wooden construction with an extremely high degree of prefabrication
The model is made of extremely light and high-strength, laser-cut wood. The construction impresses with an extremely high degree of prefabrication, which reduces the construction effort almost to the installation of the electronics (and possibly the drive).
Optionally designed for electric propulsion
The K-8B from Phoenix is designed for the optional electric propulsion, which efficiently pulls the model into thermals. All the parts required to install an electric motor are included in the scope of delivery. We recommend a 63 brushless outrunner with 280KV in combination with a 150A HV controller and two 6S batteries.
