- Iconic lines faithfully preserved, from the classic cowling shape to the full-scale inspired cockpit layout.
- Surface detail includes thousands of scale rivets and panel lines, using three different surface textures to deliver maximum realism.
Modern Composite Construction
- Entire airframe constructed from high-strength composite materials, offering unmatched durability and rigidity without excess weight.
- Reinforced rear fuselage structure ensures reliability and torsional strength, supporting the aircraft’s large control surfaces and tail.
Sliding Canopy (Optional)
- Optional electric sliding canopy mechanism offers full access to the cockpit area—similar to CARF’s MiG-17 and Corsair designs.
- Accommodates pilot figures up to 180mm wide. A highly recommended accessory for enhancing scale presence and convenience.
Three-Piece Wing System
- Outer panels are removable for easy transport while the center wing features a carbon-reinforced spar system, connected via a 40mm carbon tube.
- Each outer wing includes an aileron servo; center section houses the flap mechanism and main structure.

Scale Fixed Landing Gear
- Rigid, aluminum gear with oleo struts replicates the real aircraft’s stance and withstands repeated field use with ease.
- Quick-install gear strut fairings mount with two M3 screws per side into internal 3D-printed supports
Engine and Power Options
- Designed for 150–200cc two-stroke engines or selected four-stroke configurations.
- Composite cowling accommodates engines up to 350mm wide.
- CARF offers premium stainless steel exhaust systems for DA-170/180/200 from Zimmermann Schalldämpfer, custom-tailored to fit perfectly.
- Engine dome for 2-cylinder engines included; 4-cylinder dome available separately
