RC receivers are installed inside your model and receive commands from your transmitter. They then send those commands to the servos, ESC, gyro or other electronics that control the model.
For example, when you move the throttle stick, the receiver receives the signal and tells the ESC to increase or reduce the motor speed. The same process controls steering, ailerons, elevators, rudders, landing gear and other functions.
Choose from standard 2.4GHz receivers, long-range receivers and models with integrated gyros or stabilisers.
Important features
- Â Channels: Each channel controls a separate function. Make sure the receiver has enough channels for your model.
- Gyro or stabiliser: Helps keep the model stable by making automatic corrections.
- Telemetry: Sends information such as battery voltage, temperature and signal strength back to your transmitter.
- Integrated electronics: Some compact receivers include an ESC, servos or stabilisation functions, making them ideal for smaller models.
- Long-range connection: Helps maintain a reliable signal over greater distances.
Always check that the receiver uses the same protocol as your transmitter, such as DSMX, S-FHSS, FASSTest, FHSS or ExpressLRS.
