The Axial SCX10 III Base Camp 1/10 RTR Rock Crawler delivers outstanding trail performance, proven durability, and scale realism at an unbeatable value — now available at Aerobertics.
Designed for beginners stepping into the world of rock crawling as well as experienced drivers looking for a capable and affordable trail rig, the Base Camp combines rugged engineering with impressive out-of-the-box performance. Built on the trusted SCX10 III steel C-channel chassis, it provides a solid foundation for technical crawling and all-day trail adventures.
Equipped with high-clearance AR45 portal axles, this crawler gains extra ground clearance to easily tackle rocks, roots, and uneven terrain. Combined with the locked differential system, the Base Camp delivers consistent traction where it matters most, keeping all four wheels pulling through challenging climbs and descents.
The LCXU 4WD transmission adds versatility and strength, featuring all-metal internal gears and full ball bearings for long-term durability and smooth operation. Tunable oil-filled aluminum coil-over shocks provide excellent suspension articulation and control, allowing the vehicle to adapt to rough terrain with confidence and stability.
Power comes from the reliable Axial Slickrock 35T brushed motor, paired with a Spektrum 40A waterproof brushed ESC, delivering smooth low-speed control ideal for precision crawling. The included Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz 3-channel transmitter and SR515 DSMR 5-channel receiver ensure stable, responsive control with room for future upgrades.
Scale realism is a standout feature of the Base Camp. It comes fully equipped with a range of detailed accessories including a snorkel, half cage, side mirrors, rock sliders, door handles, a functional storage case, and licensed components such as Falken Wildpeak tires, Black Rhino Primm wheels, and DeMello Off-road bumpers. These details not only enhance the look but also bring a true scale adventure feel to every run.
Built for reliability and ease of use, every component is factory installed and ready-to-run. Just add a battery and charger, and the Base Camp is ready for the trail.
