Axial SCX10 III Motobilt Waypoint Jeep JT Gladiator 4X4 RTR
Built for the Trail. Designed for Adventure.
Welcome to the world of serious off-road crawling — where muddy trails, rocky climbs, technical obstacles, and late-night garage sessions are all part of the experience.
The Axial SCX10 III Jeep JT Gladiator Motobilt Waypoint brings that spirit to life in an incredibly detailed 1/10-scale platform. Developed in partnership with Motobilt and officially licensed by Jeep, this Ready-to-Run crawler combines authentic scale appearance with the proven off-road capability of the SCX10 III platform.
At Aerobertics, we love RC crawlers that don't just look the part — they need to perform when the trail gets technical. This SCX10 III delivers exactly that combination: realistic details, carefully engineered suspension, a factory-installed Dig system, licensed KMC wheels, Maxxis tires, and a rugged steel chassis ready to explore.
Authentic Motobilt Waypoint Styling
Axial has partnered with Motobilt to recreate the aggressive look of its Waypoint Jeep JT Gladiator build.
The officially licensed Jeep JT Gladiator body features the iconic 7-slot Jeep grille, detailed fender flares, molded door handles, hood vents, and side mirrors. Official Jeep paint schemes and inner fender wells add another level of realism.
The bobbed bed improves departure clearance while maintaining the unmistakable Gladiator silhouette.
But this isn't just a scale body with a few stickers. The Motobilt Waypoint details continue throughout the truck.
The bed includes a scale 15 lb CO₂ tank and Hi-Lift jack, while the Motobilt bumpers are equipped with realistic Baja Designs LP6 bumper lights and S2 bed-rail lights.
It looks like a real trail-built Gladiator — because that's exactly what it is designed to replicate.
Factory-Installed Dig System
One of the standout performance features is the factory-installed Dig system.
Controlled through the third channel of the included Spektrum SLT3 transmitter, the Dig function allows you to lock the rear axle and effectively switch to front-wheel drive.
This gives you a major advantage when navigating tight, technical sections of trail. You can dramatically reduce the turning radius, reposition the truck on difficult obstacles, and tackle technical climbs with greater precision.
For experienced crawlers, the Dig system opens up a whole new range of driving techniques. For newcomers, it is an excellent feature to grow into as your driving skills develop.
AR45 Straight Axles & Tunable Suspension
The SCX10 III platform features AR45 straight axles, including a driver-offset differential housing on the front axle.
The suspension combines a front 3-link and rear 4-link layout, using durable 6mm stainless-steel links and stainless-steel pivot balls.
Oil-filled shocks with aluminum threaded bodies provide fully tunable suspension performance, allowing you to adjust the truck to suit different terrain and driving styles.
Whether you're crawling over rocks, climbing ledges, or navigating uneven forest trails, the suspension is designed to keep the tires planted and the chassis controlled.
Rugged Steel C-Channel Chassis
The expandable steel C-channel chassis rails form the backbone of the SCX10 III.
With a 13.9-inch / 353 mm wheelbase, the chassis reduces unwanted frame flex while providing a stable foundation for the suspension system.
The updated two-piece Panhard bar mount adds double-shear protection for improved durability, while the skid plate provides multiple upper-link mounting positions.
This allows you to fine-tune suspension geometry and anti-squat characteristics depending on your preferred setup.
It's the kind of adjustability that lets the SCX10 III evolve with you as your crawling skills improve.
Licensed KMC Wheels & Maxxis Trepador Tires
The scale appearance continues right down to the wheels.
The truck comes equipped with officially licensed KMC Grenade beadlock wheels, wrapped in Maxxis Trepador tires featuring Axial's soft-compound rubber.
The aggressive Trepador tread delivers dependable traction while the licensed KMC wheels give the Gladiator an authentic trail-rig appearance.
This is a combination that looks right at home on a rocky trail — and is designed to perform there too.
Spektrum Electronics & Brushed Power
The SCX10 III Motobilt Waypoint comes fully equipped with a reliable Spektrum electronics package.
The Axial Slick Rock 35-turn brushed 540 motor provides smooth, controllable power, making it well suited to technical crawling where throttle precision matters more than outright speed.
A Spektrum Firma 40A waterproof brushed ESC provides dependable control in wet and muddy conditions.
Steering duties are handled by a Spektrum S683 servo with a 25T steel output gear, designed to withstand the demands of serious off-road crawling.
The included Spektrum SLT3 3-channel transmitter controls the truck and provides access to the factory-installed Dig system.
Trail-Ready Lighting
When the sun goes down, the adventure doesn't have to stop.
The SCX10 III features integrated LED lighting, including:
The lighting system adds both scale realism and practical visibility for evening trail runs.
Convenient Battery Access
Axial has equipped the Gladiator with silicone elastomer battery straps, replacing traditional Velcro straps.
The system makes battery changes quick and straightforward while securely holding the pack in place.
The chassis is compatible with both standard and shorty battery packs, giving you additional flexibility when choosing your power source.
