The Aero L-39 Albatros is a high-performance jet trainer aircraft developed in Czechoslovakia by Aero Vodochody. It first flew in 1968 and was designed for basic and advanced pilot training, as well as for light attack missions. The L-39 features a sleek, aerodynamic design, tandem seating for instructor and student, and a robust airframe. Its versatility, reliability, and relatively low operating costs have made it popular with air forces around the world, and it remains in service today with many countries.
