Black Horse Turbo Beaver ARF – 2.25m
The Legendary Canadian Bush Plane, Ready for Adventure
The iconic de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver has earned its reputation as one of the most capable bush aircraft ever built. First taking to the skies in 1947, over 1,600 Beavers were produced before evolving into the more powerful DHC-2T Turbo Beaver, featuring a turbine engine and increased payload capacity.
Black Horse brings this aviation legend to life with an impressive 2.25-metre wingspan ARF model, expertly built from lightweight balsa and plywood and beautifully factory-finished in genuine Oracover covering.
Its classic high-wing configuration, proven USA 35-B airfoil, and rugged landing gear provide outstanding stability and forgiving handling, making it an excellent choice for relaxed scale flying from grass fields throughout the year. Functional flaps enhance slow-speed performance and short take-off and landing capabilities, while the detailed cockpit and included pilot figure complete the authentic scale appearance.
Designed for versatility, the Turbo Beaver can be equipped with either a 20–30cc gasoline engine or a powerful electric power system, allowing you to tailor the model to your preferred flying style.
At Aerobertics, we love aircraft with real character, and the Turbo Beaver is exactly that. Whether you're cruising low over the runway, performing realistic STOL operations, or simply enjoying smooth Sunday flights, this model delivers the unmistakable charm of one of aviation's greatest bush planes.
