A Legend Returns: HAWK 4 in Carbon Edition
At the now-defunct company Staufenbiel in Hamburg, the Hawk was one of the most successful models in the fiberglass glider segment. We’ve revived this high-speed hotliner and proudly present the H4WK with a 4-flap wing in the Carbon Edition.
Agile Hotliner
The H4WK Carbon Edition, like its three predecessors, is an uncompromising hotliner with a T-tail. Equipped with a powerful motor, this racer effortlessly reaches speeds of over 250 km/h while maintaining stable flight characteristics. Thanks to its robust GFK/CFK construction, it not only excels in all aerobatic maneuvers but can also climb vertically at a steep 90° angle.
Optimized Incidence Angle
Thanks to its optimized fuselage, the angle of incidence (EWD) is set at 0 degrees, ensuring completely neutral flight behavior even at maximum speeds.
Premium GFK/CFK Construction
Compared to the standard edition, the Carbon Edition features an extremely high carbon fiber content. The fuselage is constructed using high-quality fiberglass shells and reinforced with carbon fiber in critical areas. The wing, utilizing the ultra-thin and high-performance HS-002 airfoil, is fully built in CFK, offering unmatched rigidity. This exceptional stability allows for extreme flight speeds.
