Fokker Dr.I Triplane 1540mm – Balsa Laser-Cut Kit (Dancing Wings Hobby S18)
Build your own Red Baron. This large Fokker Dr.I is a fully laser-cut balsa and plywood kit. With 1.54 m of wingspan on three wings and a 1.3 m fuselage, it has a real presence in the air. All wing panels come off for transport and storage. You can power it with a 6S electric setup or a 15cc gasoline engine.
This is a demanding build and a scale aircraft for experienced pilots. Expect more than 16 hours of building time. Like the full-size triplane, it is short-coupled and lively on the controls, so it is not suitable for beginners.

- Motor: 3520-size brushless, approx. 600 KV, for 6S (or a 15cc gasoline engine)
- ESC: 6S, 60A minimum (80A recommended)
- Propeller: 14" (for example 14x7). Check the current draw with a wattmeter.
- Servos: 4x 20 g digital servos with metal gears (2x aileron, 1x elevator, 1x rudder)
- Battery: LiPo 6S, 3300–6000 mAh
- Radio: transmitter and receiver, 4 channels minimum (6 or more recommended)
- Covering film (about 4–5 rolls), glue (CA, wood glue, 30-min epoxy) and building tools
