Equipped with a Spektrum brushless outrunner motor and Avian 70A Smart Lite ESC, the Gee Bee R-2 delivers fast, smooth flight and aerobatic capability, with speeds up to 100 MPH in a dive. Surprisingly stable at slower speeds, it’s suitable for intermediate and experienced pilots who want a model that is both exciting and forgiving.
Four digital, metal-geared servos provide precise control at all speeds, and the large top-mounted hatch allows easy access to your battery. Optional motor reversing adds versatility for ground handling, while shock-absorbing landing gear and a steerable tailwheel make landings easier and more controlled.
