Introducing the all-new 69” Turbo Raven V2 — the next evolution of one of the most exciting and precise aerobatic aircraft ever designed.
Originally created by our good friend Cody Wojcik, the Turbo Raven V2 takes everything pilots loved about the original version and pushes it even further. Built around a lightweight 60” class 6S power system, this revolutionary aircraft delivers an unmatched combination of precision, low-speed control, and pure 3D performance.
Inspired by the legendary full-scale Turbo Raven flown by Wayne Handley, the design traces its roots back to the Giles G-202 and incorporates advanced composite concepts. The original full-scale aircraft was one of the very few aerobatic airplanes with a true 1:1+ thrust-to-weight ratio, capable of incredible maneuvers such as torque rolls, stop-and-go vertical uplines, and even flying straight out of flat spins.
The Turbo Raven EXP was engineered from the ground up with carefully optimized moments, aerodynamic surfaces, and a CFD-analyzed airfoil to excel at extremely low wing loading — without the sloppy or floaty feel often associated with ultra-light designs. The slim fuselage minimizes drag while keeping the ailerons fully immersed in prop wash for maximum authority at near-zero airspeed.
The result?
Knife-edge flight with virtually no mixing required, pitch response as smooth as a pattern ship yet as aggressive as an Edge when demanded, and incredibly fast yet predictable roll performance thanks to the huge counterbalanced ailerons. Rifle rolls have never felt this locked-in and effortless. Despite its lightweight design, the Turbo Raven remains impressively comfortable and stable even in windy conditions.
For ultimate performance, we recommend pairing the aircraft with modern high-torque mini servos such as the EF/Theta 989 or Savox SV-1261, along with the T-Motor AM600 power combo, a 16x8 propeller, and a 6S 3700–4500mAh battery setup.
