Freewing Messerschmitt Me 262 "Yellow 7" V2 Twin High Performance 70mm EDF Jet – PNP
With its swept wings and twin underwing engine nacelles, the Messerschmitt Me 262 has a silhouette that few aircraft can match. Freewing captures that iconic shape in a 1.5m EPO foam twin-jet that looks just as striking on the flight line as it does making a high-speed pass.
This model wears the markings of "Yellow 7", serial 500491, a preserved Me 262 on display at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. Against a clear blue sky, the historic scheme is unmistakable at any flying field.
This V2 High Performance version is a Receiver Ready (PNP) model. It combines upgraded twin 2952-2100Kv brushless inrunner motors with 70mm 12-blade EDF fans, and leaves you free to install your preferred 6-channel receiver and radio system.
Authentic Scale Character
The Me 262 is packed with super scale touches, including a detailed cockpit, authentic graphics, engine vents and machine guns. Together they give the model real presence, whether it is parked in the pits or flying overhead.
Durable, shock-absorbing electric retracts with metal trunnions are fitted to both the main gear and the nose gear. Functional gear doors and steerable nose gear add to the realism and make ground handling straightforward.
Split flaps help shorten take-offs and bring landing speeds down, so this fast twin jet stays manageable when it is time to return to the runway.
Twin 70mm EDF High Performance Power
The High Performance upgrade pairs two 2952-2100Kv brushless inrunner motors with two 70mm 12-blade EDF fans for strong, smooth thrust.
Each motor is driven by its own 60A HobbyWing ESC with internal SBEC and EC5 connector. Running on a 6S 22.2V 4000–6000mAh 40C LiPo, the Me 262 can reach speeds of more than 160 km/h (100+ mph), and it handles in a nimble, responsive way.
Please note: the receiver, servos and onboard electronics are rated for a maximum input of 5.5V. Always power them through the installed ESCs from the main flight battery, and do not use any other power source. Otherwise, the electronics will be damaged.
Plug-N-Play – Bring Your Own Receiver
This PNP model comes without a receiver or transmitter. That makes it ideal for pilots who already fly a preferred radio system.
Install a minimum 6-channel receiver, bind it to your transmitter and set up the model to suit your flying style. The motors, EDF units, ESCs and all servos are already installed at the factory.
Quick Assembly & Robust Construction
Final assembly takes about one hour, so you can get from box to flying field quickly.
The crash-resistant EPO foam airframe is reinforced with carbon wing spars for extra strength. Nylon hinges on all control surfaces provide reliable movement flight after flight.
Nine factory-installed servos operate the ailerons, elevator, rudder, split flaps, gear doors and nose gear steering.
