Freewing Eurofighter Typhoon V2 6S 90mm EDF Jet with Gyro – PNP
Fast, agile and instantly recognisable, the Eurofighter Typhoon is one of Europe's most advanced multirole fighters. Built by a consortium of European aerospace companies, it pairs fly-by-wire control and supercruise capability with a canard-delta layout and twin-engine fuselage that give it a sharp, aggressive look.
Freewing's 2023 Eurofighter earned a strong reputation among EDF jet pilots. This V2 keeps everything that made that model popular and adds practical upgrades: quick-disconnect wings, formation lights, a factory-installed EG01 6-axis gyro and wing-mounted CG reference marks with an extended aft CG range.
This Plug-N-Play (PNP) version arrives with motor, EDF, ESC, gyro, servos, retracts and lighting already installed. You only add your own minimum 7-channel receiver and radio system.
RAF 100th Anniversary Livery
The V2 has a new paint scheme: ZJ925 of XI(F) Squadron RAF in its 100th Anniversary markings. The medium grey airframe is set off by a black spine and a bold black tail carrying the DXI eagle, making it a real eye-catcher on the flight line and in the air.
Scale details include CNC shock-absorbing retractable landing gear with grey-painted struts and metal trunnions, sequenced gear doors and a full scale weapon set with ten pylons. The functioning airbrake on a linear electric actuator helps with high-alpha manoeuvres and slows the jet after touchdown. Spring-loaded auxiliary air inlets open and close by themselves, feeding the fan according to the air pressure difference.
Navigation, landing and the new formation lights are built into the airframe in scale positions, giving the Typhoon extra presence on every pass.
Strong 6S 90mm EDF Performance
Power comes from a factory-installed 3668-1960Kv brushless inrunner motor driving a 12-blade 90mm EDF unit. It delivers strong, efficient thrust across a wide speed range, together with a realistic turbine-like sound.
The 120A ESC with 8A UBEC has a thrust reversing function, which shortens your landing roll. Fit a 6S 22.2V 5000–6000mAh LiPo with EC5 connector and the Typhoon is ready for fast passes as well as slow, controlled flying.
Factory-Installed EG01 Gyro
The EG01 6-axis gyro is fitted at the factory. It steadies the jet and adds precision on approach and during accurate manoeuvring, while keeping the Typhoon's high-performance character.
9g and 17g digital servos, nylon hinges on all control surfaces, upgraded pushrod clevises and metal ball-head connectors give precise and reliable control response.
Plug-N-Play – Bring Your Own Receiver
This model comes without a receiver or transmitter. That makes it a good choice for pilots who already fly a preferred radio system. Install a receiver with at least 7 channels, bind it and set the model up to your liking.
Always power the receiver and onboard electronics through the installed ESC and its integrated BEC, using the main flight battery. Do not use any other power source, because this will damage the electronics.
Quick Assembly & Field Setup
The new quick-disconnect wings fit and come off without tools, so the Typhoon is quick to assemble at the field and easy to transport afterwards.
CG reference marks are now on the wing itself, and the extended aft CG range makes finding the right balance faster and simpler. Assembly takes around 30+ minutes.
