Futaba R3306GY – T-FHSS Air Receiver with Built-In 6-Axis Gyro
The Futaba R3306GY combines a high-performance T-FHSS Air receiver with an integrated 6-axis gyro, providing advanced flight stabilization without the need for a separate gyro unit or additional wiring.
Designed for both beginners and experienced pilots, the R3306GY helps maintain a stable and controlled flight attitude while offering advanced functions such as recovery mode, AVCS, Roll Flat and 4D flight support.

Gyro and advanced functions can be configured using the Futaba GPB-1 or compatible transmitters such as the T32MZ, T32MZ WC, T26SZ, T26SZ PRO and T16IZ S. The transmitter and receiver must be updated to the latest compatible firmware.
Basic settings can also be adjusted directly from the receiver using its switches and LED indicators.
Remote gain adjustment allows the gyro gain of each axis to be configured independently from the transmitter.

Recovery Mode – Added Confidence in Flight
The dedicated Recovery Mode can automatically return the aircraft to a level attitude at the flick of a switch. This is particularly useful if the aircraft becomes disoriented or the pilot temporarily loses visual awareness of its attitude.
It provides an additional level of confidence for less experienced pilots while remaining a useful recovery aid for experienced flyers.
Advanced Flight Functions
When correctly configured through the GPB-1 or a compatible transmitter, the R3306GY supports a range of advanced functions:
- Roll Flat
- Air Brake
- Camber Mixing
- 4D Flight
The Roll Flat function can help maintain a level roll attitude when the aileron stick is centered, within the specified operating conditions. This can be particularly helpful during landing, allowing the pilot to concentrate more on elevator and throttle control. It can also be useful for practicing level flight and aerial manoeuvres.
The system supports pitch angles within ±60° and the specified roll-angle range for Roll Flat operation.
Full Gyro Control
The R3306GY provides gyro control for:
- 4 ailerons
- 2 elevators
- 2 rudders
AIL3, AIL4 and RUD2 are available via S.BUS2 output and require the appropriate output configuration using the GPB-1 or a compatible transmitter.
The receiver is suitable for a wide variety of aircraft configurations, including tailless and conventional aircraft, and can be used with both electric and engine-powered models.
