OMP Hobby Bushmaster 65" (1660mm) – PNP
The OMP Hobby Bushmaster 65" is a versatile bush-style aircraft designed for pilots who want a perfect balance between stable flight performance, STOL capability, and fun sport flying. With its generous wingspan and efficient wing loading, this model delivers excellent slow-flight characteristics while still maintaining enough power for dynamic maneuvers.
With a 1660mm wingspan and a flight weight between 2.3 and 2.6 kg, the Bushmaster offers impressive stability in the air. The large 34.2 dm² wing area combined with a relatively low wing loading (67–76 g/dm²) allows for smooth takeoffs, controlled landings, and forgiving handling — making it suitable for both intermediate and experienced pilots looking for a reliable bush plane.
Power comes from a Sunnysky X3520 KV560 III motor paired with an 80A BEC ESC, delivering strong and efficient thrust through the 14×7” propeller. The carefully designed motor thrust angles (0° down / 2.5° right) ensure stable tracking and predictable flight behavior.
The aircraft is equipped with six high-quality SG5S servos, providing precise control authority across all surfaces. Combined with the optimized wing incidence of 0.5° and a recommended center of gravity between 58–65 mm, the Bushmaster achieves an excellent balance between stability and responsiveness.
With its durable construction and smart engineering, the Bushmaster is ideal for short-field operations, rough-field takeoffs, and relaxed sport flying.
