The Warbird series from Phoenix is up to 95% prefabricated and covered with foil. Thanks to new laser-cut technology, a light and high-strength wooden construction with many new details could be produced. The model impresses with its extended cockpit, retractable landing gear, true-to-scale landing flaps and many other details. The engine cowl is made of GRP and is already painted. The Spitfire is made entirely of high-quality wood and covered with foil. The model is designed for a 50-60 cc combustion engine or an 80 mm brushless motor. Access to the drive battery is via a removable cover. The Spitfire is already covered with foil, all small parts required for assembly are included in the scope of delivery.
