RadioMaster GX15 — Advanced ExpressLRS Radio Controller
Precision, performance and total control — engineered for serious RC pilots.
RadioMaster continues to expand its transmitter lineup with the introduction of the GX15, a modern high-performance radio controller designed specifically for pilots flying RC airplanes, gliders, helicopters and traditional aircraft.
Combining a powerful STM32 H7 processor, a bright 3.5-inch touchscreen, precision Hall-effect gimbals and dual 2.4GHz ExpressLRS Gemini technology, the GX15 delivers a responsive and reliable flying experience in a distinctive, ergonomic form factor.
At Aerobertics, we particularly appreciate the GX15 for its combination of modern technology, clean ergonomics and practical features designed around the needs of precision pilots. From the integrated dual-antenna Gemini system to the configurable shoulder controls, every detail has been designed to give pilots more flexibility and confidence in the air.
For pilots looking for an even more refined configuration, the GX15 MAX adds AG02 CNC gimbals and premium aluminum controls for an enhanced premium feel.
Key Features
Designed Around the Pilot
The GX15 places its 3.5-inch IPS touchscreen above the main controls, keeping telemetry, timers, model information and flight data clearly visible during flight. The elevated screen position helps prevent your hands from obstructing the display while maintaining a comfortable control position.
At the heart of the transmitter is the powerful STM32 H7 processor, providing a significant performance increase over previous generations. Combined with EdgeTX, this translates into a smoother user interface, faster Lua script execution and extremely responsive operation.
The GX15 also features 512MB of built-in flash memory, with support for an external MicroSD card for additional storage and flexible data management. Please note that inserting a MicroSD card disables the onboard flash storage.
Dual-Antenna Gemini ExpressLRS
The GX15 comes equipped with dual Semtech SX1281 2.4GHz transceivers, each capable of up to 250mW output power, delivering the advantages of ExpressLRS Gemini technology.
This dual-RF architecture provides enhanced redundancy and polarization diversity while maintaining the low latency and high update rates for which ExpressLRS is known. With compatible receivers such as the RadioMaster Nexus-XR, the GX15 can support ultra-fast F1000 operation.
The two integrated antennas are positioned behind the display in different orientations, helping maintain reliable signal performance without the need for external antennas.
At Aerobertics, this integrated approach is a real advantage: it keeps the transmitter compact and clean while providing the RF flexibility expected from a modern high-end ExpressLRS system.
Precision Control
The standard GX15 is equipped with V6 Hall-effect sensor gimbals, providing accurate and consistent stick input. The transmitter also includes M4 gimbal sticks and comes with additional low-tension springs, allowing pilots to fine-tune the feel of the controls.
For pilots who want the ultimate GX15 experience, the GX15 MAX takes things further with AG02 CNC gimbals and premium aluminum controls.
Customizable Shoulder Controls
The GX15 features interchangeable shoulder switch panels, allowing pilots to adapt the transmitter to their preferred configuration.
The included replacement panels make it possible to change the layout, and switches can even be replaced with momentary buttons for specific applications.
This flexibility makes the GX15 particularly well suited to pilots who like to configure their transmitter around their own aircraft, flight style and workflow.
Smart Power & Cooling
A dedicated smart battery management system optimizes power consumption to help extend operating time.
For demanding flying sessions, the integrated cooling system combines a low-noise fan and aluminum heat sinks to maintain stable operating temperatures and consistent performance.
The GX15 supports several battery configurations, including:
Batteries are not included.
EdgeTX & ExpressLRS Ready
The GX15 is supplied with ExpressLRS 2.4GHz installed as standard and runs EdgeTX transmitter firmware.
ExpressLRS is an open-source, high-performance RC link technology designed to provide long range, low latency and high update rates, making it an excellent choice for modern aircraft and helicopter applications.
The GX15 requires EdgeTX version 2.12.0 or higher.
