Give Underperforming Batteries a Second Chance
Before throwing away a battery that seems to be losing capacity, the NC3000 Pro gives you tools to evaluate and potentially recover it.
Recommended recovery procedure:
Run Cycle mode 1–3 times.
If the capacity remains low, switch to Break-in mode.
If capacity improves by more than 10%, repeat Break-in mode 1–3 times.
If there is no significant improvement and capacity remains below approximately 60%, the battery should be considered for replacement.

Break-in Mode — Battery Formatting & Conditioning
Battery formatting uses a controlled charge-discharge-charge (CDC) sequence to help activate and condition a battery.
The NC3000 Pro's Break-in mode performs this process using carefully controlled charging and discharging rates.
Depending on the condition of the battery, the process may need to be repeated two or three times.
Match Your Batteries. Improve Performance.
When several batteries are used together, the weakest cell can limit the performance of the entire set.
Differences in capacity can reduce runtime and cause the set to perform below its potential.
With the NC3000 Pro's Cycle mode, you can measure battery performance and identify cells with similar capacities.
Our tip at Aerobertics: build battery sets from cells with comparable capacity for more consistent performance and longer operating time.
MaxBoost — Get the Most From Your Batteries
MaxBoost is designed for users who want to optimize battery performance.
The charger first fully charges the battery and then discharges it to a selected capacity according to your settings.
It's an excellent tool for evaluating battery behavior and getting the best possible performance from your cells.

FlexiPulse — Intelligent Temperature Protection
As batteries age, their internal resistance generally increases. Higher internal resistance can cause additional heat during charging.
SkyRC's FlexiPulse algorithm continuously monitors battery behavior and internal resistance.
When high internal resistance is detected, the charger can automatically reduce the charging current to limit heat generation and protect the battery.
