With a lightweight 790 kg frame and a 1.427L turbocharged inline-4 DOHC engine producing 375 hp, it delivered breathtaking performance on the track. The Capri Turbo claimed its first victory at the 11th round of the DRM at the Nürburgring in October 1978 and went on to secure podium finishes in the following season.
