Tamiya celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Sand Scorcher by reissuing a slightly improved version of the model. These improvements include refined parts. Like the original version, the Sand Scorcher is fitted with grooved front tires and siped rear tires. The Buggy Champ and the Sand use the same chassis, with interchangeable parts.
