GYA553 Airplane gyro (Sbus2)

Description

The FUTABA GYA553 is a compact 6-axis gyro for use in fixed-wing models. The GYA553 stabilizes fixed-wing models via aileron (roll axis), elevator (pitch axis) and rudder (yaw axis). As an innovative feature, the GYA553 has for the first time the possibility to use the servo outputs for normal servos (PWM) as well as in S.BUS mode.

In addition, the GYA553 has a recovery mode that brings the model back to normal flight attitude in difficult situations - provided the model has sufficient safety altitude. The gyro stabilizes the model especially in gusty wind conditions. At the same time, the agility in the roll behavior is maintained even in AVCS mode.

The firmware of the GYA553 is updateable.
