Twin EDF Power, Impressive Performance
Powered by two brushless outrunner motors and 30mm electric ducted fans, the Micro 787 offers an excellent balance of performance, agility and flight time. Designed for popular 3S 600–850mAh LiPo batteries, it delivers responsive handling and enough power for exciting scale flying as well as sport aerobatics, including loops, rolls and inverted flight.
Despite its compact dimensions, this model is packed with advanced technology to help make every flight more enjoyable. The factory-installed Spektrum control unit combines a receiver with two brushless ESCs, while exclusive AS3X® stabilisation helps counter the effects of turbulence and wind. For additional assistance, SAFE® Select provides optional flight-envelope protection, making the aircraft more manageable when you need a little extra confidence.
Another clever feature is the optional motor/thrust reversing function, designed to help shorten the rollout after landing when configured and used under the appropriate conditions. It's a practical innovation that adds to the versatility of this little jet.
Fly from the Runway or Take to the Grass
One of the best things about the Micro 787 Dreamliner is its flexibility. Install the included fixed landing gear and steerable nose wheel to taxi, take off and land on suitable smooth surfaces. Prefer to fly from a grassy field? Simply remove the landing gear and take advantage of the automatic Hand Launch Assist Mode for easier hand launching.
With the gear removed, the model also benefits from reduced weight and drag, helping deliver a livelier flying experience. Its durable, lightweight EPS airframe features plastic-reinforced nacelle bottoms and wingtips, together with additional composite reinforcements for improved strength and rigidity.
At just 715mm wingspan and 650mm long, the Micro 787 is easy to transport and store, making it a practical choice for pilots who want a convincing airliner without needing a large flying site or dedicated storage space.
Ready to Fly, Right Out of the Box
The E-flite Micro Boeing 787 Dreamliner arrives fully assembled and factory finished, so there's no complicated building process to get in the way of your next flying session. The four installed Spektrum linear servos operate the ailerons, elevator, rudder and nose-wheel steering, while the integrated electronics keep the installation neat and convenient.
The BNF Basic version is designed for pilots who already own a compatible 5–6+ channel Spektrum DSMX®/DSM2® transmitter. It also supports real-time telemetry, including battery voltage and current, when paired with compatible Spektrum AirWare transmitters. Telemetry availability and displayed data depend on the radio, battery and system configuration.
Please note: A compatible transmitter, 3S LiPo battery and suitable charger are required and sold separately.
