Freewing MiG-29 Fulcrum V2 Digital Camo Twin 80mm EDF Jet with Gyro – PNP
Since entering service in 1981, the Mikoyan MiG-29 has flown with more than a dozen air forces as a dedicated twin-engine air superiority fighter. Its broad lifting-body fuselage, canted twin fins and aggressive intake ramps make the Fulcrum one of the most recognisable shapes in modern military aviation.
Freewing has taken its popular twin 80mm EDF MiG-29 and refined it into the V2. This version is finished in the striking five-tone "Digital Thunder" camouflage worn by the Slovak Air Force. The upgrades focus on durability, scale realism and convenience at the field, while keeping the performance that made the original a favourite among jet pilots.
This Plug-N-Play (PNP) version arrives with motors, ESCs, servos, retracts, lighting and the EG01 6-axis gyro already installed. You only need to add your own receiver and radio system.
Big 1/9 Scale Presence
With a length of 1878 mm and a wingspan of 1257 mm, this 1/9 scale Fulcrum looks impressive on the flight line and even more so in a fast pass overhead.
The accurate overall outline is backed up by scale ordnance on removable pylons, including the Archer missiles that made the MiG-29 so dangerous in close-in combat. Articulating landing gear doors add realism on the ground and during gear cycling.
The V2 adds extra LED navigation lights along the fuselage spine, on the belly and on the rudder. These lights improve visibility in the air and add scale character, whether you fly in the evening or make a low pass along the runway.
Twin 80mm EDF Power
Two 80mm 12-blade ducted fans are each driven by a 3658-2150Kv brushless inrunner motor. Together they deliver rapid acceleration and top speeds approaching 190 km/h (120 mph).
Each motor is controlled by its own installed 100A ESC with 8A UBEC. The setup runs on two 6S 22.2V 4000–6000mAh LiPo batteries with EC5 connectors.
EG01 Gyro & Refined Flight Behaviour
New on the V2 is the factory-installed Freewing EG01 6-axis gyro. It smooths out the flight envelope and adds precision on approach and during precise manoeuvres, without taking away the jet's sporty, high-performance character.
The lifting-body design gives gentle flight characteristics and very good directional stability. Large flaps help keep landings controlled and confident.
Stronger Airframe for Grass-Field Flying
Under the Digital Camo finish, Freewing has strengthened several key areas:
Combined with the suspension landing gear, these changes make the MiG-29 better suited to well-kept short grass as well as hard runways. The twist-and-turn main retracts with servo-driven gear doors also improve aerodynamics with the gear up.
Quick Assembly & Easy Transport
Freewing's quick-release main wing system lets you fit and remove the wings without tools. This makes transport, storage and field setup quick and easy.
The CG reference marker on the V2 is now on the underside of the wing, so checking the balance at the field is faster. The approximate build time is just one hour.
Plug-N-Play – Bring Your Own Receiver
This model is supplied without a receiver or transmitter, so you can use the radio system you already trust.
A 6-channel setup is the minimum. You need 7 channels to use thrust reversing and 8 channels for gyro mode selection.
Please note: the receiver, servos and onboard electronics are rated for a maximum of 5.5V. Always power the receiver and electronics through the installed ESCs from the main flight batteries, and never use a separate power source.

Digital Thunder – Ready for Your Radio at Aerobertics
The MiG-29 is one of the most charismatic fighters of the jet age, and the Slovak Digital Thunder camouflage gives this Freewing replica a look that stands out in any EDF fleet.
Twin 80mm fans, the EG01 gyro, a reinforced airframe and tool-free wings make the V2 Fulcrum a big-scale jet that is both thrilling and practical to fly.
At Aerobertics, we like giving experienced jet pilots the freedom to set up their models their own way. The PNP version is the ideal choice if you already have a favourite radio system.
Add your receiver and two 6S packs, and take the Digital Thunder Fulcrum into the sky.
