DEVELOPED FOR PERFORMANCE
The ARES L is not simply a scaled-down ARES XL. Reducing the size allowed the designers to refine several construction details and proportions while preserving the aircraft's legendary flight characteristics.
The result is a jet that is exceptionally agile, precise and responsive, while remaining perfectly suited to high-energy 3D manoeuvres.
The kit is designed for P130–P250 class turbines, making it a serious platform for advanced jet pilots.
SMART, PRACTICAL CONSTRUCTION
The ARES L features the same proven wing construction, with centrally hinged ailerons and flaps. Positive flap deflection is available for advanced 3D manoeuvres.
Wing installation is remarkably simple: the wing slides onto the central carbon-fibre joining tube, aligns with two guide pins and is secured with a single screw — no tools required.
The extended canopy provides excellent access to the turbine and onboard equipment, making installation, inspection and maintenance much easier.
For transportation, both the fin and horizontal stabilizers are removable, allowing the aircraft to be packed down efficiently despite its impressive size.
BUILT FOR SERIOUS 3D FLYING
The ARES L was created for pilots who wanted the performance of the ARES XL in a smaller and more accessible format.
With the right equipment, the kit can be built at less than 13 kg dry, even with a powerful 21 kg-thrust turbine, vectored thrust pipe, 3D kerosene and smoke systems, nine high-speed/high-torque servos and a Mercury PowerBox system.
Ready to fly and fully loaded with fuel and smoke fluid, the aircraft weighs approximately 18 kg.
