The O.S. GGT15 is a revolution in petrol engines, it is a petrol engine that uses a glowplug! Though extensive testing and development OS have developed the special G5 glowplug capable of use in petrol engines giving you the efficiency and fuel price of a petrol motor with the value and simplicity of a glow motor. Based on the popular GT-15 the GGT15 is designed to fit in place of a .61-.91 engine but give you the efficiency of a petrol engine and the ease of use you normally associate with a glow engine. The use of a glow plug means the GGT15 is simple to install as it doesn't require an ignition module and easy to start using a normal glow starter like traditional glow engines.

What's the difference between the GT15 and GGT15

The key difference between the O.S. GT15 and O.S. GGT15 engines lies in their ignition systems and related components:

O.S. GT15:This engine uses a conventional ignition system with a spark plug and requires an external electronic ignition module (CDI).This system offers reliable ignition but adds extra weight and complexity to the installation due to the ignition module and associated wiring.
O.S. GGT15:The GGT15, on the other hand, uses a glow plug for igniting the gasoline mixture, similar to traditional glow engines. This eliminates the need for an external ignition module, resulting in a simpler and lighter system.Using a glow plug also makes starting easier and reduces the number of required components.

Both engines are designed for use with a 50:1 gasoline/oil mixture and are suitable for models in the .60-.91 class. The choice between the two depends on your preference for the ignition system and the associated installation requirements.
