Part of the legendary Bushmaster series designed by Cody Wojcik, the Turbo Bushmaster V2 is a phenomenal STOL and 3D bush plane built for lightweight, high-performance flying. These aircraft redefine what a “bush plane” can do, offering effortless, dramatic STOL maneuvers and surprisingly agile low-and-slow 3D aerobatics that will amaze anyone who thinks they know bush plane performance.
The Bushmasters aren’t designed for top speed or XA racing – they’re for pilots who love the slow lane with maximum aerobatic fun.
Crafted from hand-selected balsa and composite-reinforced ply, with pultruded carbon structural members, the Turbo Bushmaster V2 is light yet incredibly strong. It features CNC quick latches for fast and easy field assembly, and arrives with pre-hinged, gap-sealed control surfaces, making setup a breeze. For even more bush-plane flair, upgrade to the optional PMT bush wheels. Keep in mind, these planes are very large for their weight, and unusually light for their size, so typical wingspan-to-engine-size conventions from other 3D aircraft don’t apply.
Power Options:
- Gas: Ideal engines include the DA-70 or GP-76cc, delivering excellent vertical performance for a plane of this size. Compatible with stock mufflers or two-into-one header with canister or tuned pipe setups.
- Electric: Recommended setup is the XPWR60cc Brushless motor, paired with Castle Creations HV 160A ESC (Firmware 4.22 only), a 25x10 electric prop, and 12S 5000-6000mAh LiPo for thrilling electric performance.
