Freewing Avanti S Red High Performance 6S 90mm EDF Sport Jet with Gyro – PNP
The Avanti S has earned a reputation as one of the most loved sport jets in RC, and Freewing has now taken the design a big step further. Officially licensed by SebArt International, the original designer of the Avanti S, this version grows the airframe into a 90mm EDF platform with a 1380mm wingspan and a 1460mm length.
The larger size gives the Avanti S a strong presence on the flight line and a solid, locked-in feel in the air. It also makes the jet easier to follow at a distance, while the high-contrast red and white livery keeps orientation clear in every attitude.
This Plug-N-Play (PNP) version arrives with the power system, servos, retracts, lights and EG01 6-axis gyro already installed. You add your own receiver, battery and radio system to complete it.
Bigger Airframe, Bigger Presence
The fully painted EPO airframe shows no bare foam anywhere, so the jet looks finished on the ground as well as in the sky. A removable magnetic nose cone and a clear canopy with pilot figure complete the look.
LED lights are fitted at five positions, and four sets of formation lights sit on the tail and fuselage sides. They keep the Avanti S visible against bright skies, on overcast days and during evening sessions.
Under the foam, the hollow main wing is built around a carbon fibre square tube and a wooden rib beam, and the horizontal stabilisers have their own carbon reinforcement. The result is a stiff, strong structure that suits the speeds this jet can reach.
Serious 6S 90mm EDF Power
A 12-blade 90mm ducted fan, driven by a 3668-1960Kv brushless inrunner motor on 6S, produces approximately 3700 g (8.2 lb) of thrust. It comes with the turbine-like sound that makes 90mm EDF jets so appealing.
At full throttle the Avanti S can leave the ground in as little as 15 m (49 ft), and top speeds reach 190 km/h (118 mph). High-speed passes are crisp and precise, and rolls stay axial. When you slow down, the jet has good stall manners and holds a smooth line on low approaches, helped by the flaps.
Cooling airways on both sides of the nose keep the battery and electronics cool in flight. A large canopy hatch opens to a 280 x 83 x 70 mm battery bay, so large packs are easy to fit.
EG01 Gyro & Thrust Reversing
The factory-installed Freewing EG01 6-axis gyro steadies the jet in gusty conditions and on final approach. Gyro modes can be selected from your transmitter when you use an 8-channel setup.
The 120A ESC with 8A UBEC supports thrust reversing, which shortens landing rollouts noticeably. Reverse thrust requires at least a 7-channel radio.
The bolt-on rear fuselage section also accepts an optional thrust vectoring unit (FJ32511022, sold separately). With it fitted, the Avanti S becomes a 3D machine capable of flat spins, tight tumbles and pendulums.
Plug-N-Play – Bring Your Own Receiver
This model is supplied without a receiver, transmitter or battery.
The PNP configuration suits pilots who already have a preferred radio system. Install a suitable 6–8 channel receiver, bind it to your transmitter and set up the jet to your liking.
A 6-channel setup is the minimum. Seven channels add reverse thrust, and eight channels add gyro mode selection.
Quick Assembly & Durable Hardware
The screw-less quick-release wing system lets each wing slide onto the carbon spar and lock in place, and the wing's electrical connections plug in automatically. The tail fits with a few screws and a single wiring connection. CG reference marks on the underside of the wing make setup quick.
Nine digital servos are factory installed. 17g digital metal gear servos drive all primary control surfaces and the flaps. Each surface uses dual control horns with a centred captured ball link, mounted on enlarged bases that are bonded and screwed for extra strength. An L-bend pushrod with a keeper at the servo makes adjustment easy, and hidden hinges keep the surfaces clean and precise.
The electric retracts use fully enclosed CNC aluminium shock-absorbing struts, with the springs and damping grease sealed inside. A built-in brace reinforces the nose strut, and servo-driven nose gear doors and main gear strut doors complete the installation.

Avanti S 90mm – Ready for Your Radio at Aerobertics
The Avanti S has long been a favourite sport jet, and this 90mm version gives it more size, more thrust and more presence than before.
Its 12-blade EDF, 6S power, EG01 gyro, thrust reversing, flaps, retracts and full lighting package combine real jet performance with practical field features. Add the quick-release wings and the jet is ready to fly with little time on the bench.
At Aerobertics we like giving pilots the freedom to set up their models their own way. The PNP version is the right choice if you already have a radio system and receiver you trust.
Install your electronics, charge your 6S packs and enjoy the sound of the Avanti S at full throttle.
