Damped brackets with spacer bolts for electric drives and combustion engines
Brackets with rubber damping for installing an electric motors or combustion engines into the R/C model. The motor mount can be screwed onto the four rubber dampers on the head frame.
The bracket consists of turned flanges and foot plates, which form a unit when plugged together with a spacer sleeve. The motor mount sits in the rubber dampers between the flange and the foot plate.
Advantages of the bracket
Adjusting side thrust and down thrust
Adjustable spacer bolts made of turned aluminum to fit an electric motor or combustion engine into the R/C model. The distance from the cowl to the back of the spinner as well as the side thrust and down thrust can be adjusted continuously by turning the thread.
The distances from the motor frame to the rear edge of the motor frame can be continuously adjusted between 20 and 55 millimeters (0.79 and 2.17 inches). If necessary, the spacer bolts can be shortened to the desired length at five undercuts using a hacksaw.
A washer with a spherical surface is inserted on the spherical face of the spacer bolt. When adjusting side thrust and down thrust, the wedge-shaped openings on the contact surface are compensated up to approx. 4 degrees on all sides.
All holes are designed for M5 screws. If necessary, they can also be drilled out to M6 size.
Designed and made in Germany.
Required accessories
Depending on the thickness and material of the motor frame, M5 or M6 screws or corresponding threaded rods with a length of approx. 90 to 120 millimeters (3.54 to 4.72 inches) are required for fastening. These are not included in delivery.
