After the static model kit in 1/35 scale (35387), the new German Leopard 2 A7V battle tank is now available as a fully-functional, realistic 1/16 scale radio-controlled replica with a host of impressive features!

- 1/16 Scale Radio-Controlled Kit: A detailed and faithful reproduction of the Leopard 2 A7V, complete with a 120mm L/55 cannon. The muscular shape of the Leopard 2 A7V is meticulously recreated using thorough research on the real tank, incorporating all the differences compared to the previous Leopard 2 A6 version (56020).
- Independent Suspension with Torsion Bars: Like the real tank, this model features an independent wheel suspension system with torsion bars for optimal mobility. Die-cast metal suspension arms (plastic on the 56020 Leopard 2 A6) provide enhanced quality and durability.
- Pre-Assembled Tracks: The tank comes with pre-assembled tracks equipped with rubber pads for improved performance.
- Turned Aluminum Gun Barrel: The 120mm cannon tube is made from precision-turned aluminum for added realism.
- New DMD T-12 Control Unit: The DMD T-12 Control Unit allows for cannon control and sound volume adjustments directly from the transmitter, a feature not available on the 56020 version. This system also controls cannon elevation and turret rotation, keeping the cannon aimed in the same direction (target lock feature during movement).
- Multifunctional Control: The DMD unit uses 4 channels to control forward/reverse movement, sharp turns, and pivots at any speed. Cannon elevation, recoil, and turret rotation are all controllable. Engine sounds are synchronized with the model's speed, while cannon and machine gun shots are accompanied by realistic light and sound effects (enabled by the multifunctional DMD unit).
- Easy Access for Battery Replacement: The DMD control unit and battery pack are housed inside the turret. The turret top is easily removable (secured with pins) for quick battery replacement. Additionally, a magnet-secured hatch at the rear of the turret grants quick access to the power and setup switches.
- Combat Simulation System Compatibility: The model is compatible with the Combat Simulation System (Ref. 53447), sold separately.
