The Pitts Biplane is probably one of the most popular and easily recognizable biplane designs of all aerobatic airplanes. The Pitts Special was originally designed in 1944 and has seen many design modifications and changessince then. The latest design of the highly modified Pitts is called the Challenger III or the Wolf Pitts. World famous Sean D. Tucker has impressed the world with his aerobatic routines, Sean is now flying the Challenger III airplane. One of the most unique features of this new plane is a whole new wing design with the leading edges incorporating a 7 degree sweep about 2/3rds the way to the wing tip and also the incorporation of an airfoiled stab and vertical fin with larger than normal control surfaces. Team Edge is now offering this this awesome airplane in a 50% Scale and designed it for use with 170-220cc motors. With (3) schemes to choose from, we are sure we have one you will love to add to your hanger!
